We are Back Baby!!

Hello, hello, hello! Long time no talk. Hope you all are well. I’v been away, working away. Last month I finally graduated from cosmetology school to get my nail tech license, and I have even passed my written test already too. I have one more test to go, the practical exam. Which I have scheduled to take in early September. I plan to work in a salon at first but will eventually work in my own studio space. As of right now I am taking clients at home, so if you're interested you can email me or send me a message on instagram.

Now for the art things in the works… I will be in a show on September 14th from 12-4pm at the Cathedral (art gallery) in Austin TX. This show is a small body of work I’v made during my time with Austin EAL. Austin Emerging Arts Leaders helps put together emerging creatives with mentors in their field to help them navigate how to make their dreams a reality. For my part is the showcase I have created several new pieces of art and have made a set of press on nails to go with each piece. Tying both of my mediums together. I really pushed myself with these pieces to experiment with new ways to create depth is the details, and breaking my own rules to really bring play to the front of my practice. I’m super excited to share it all soon.
